Prakash H Dhupelia is a qualified Accountant, Chartered Secretary with a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is currently completing his Doctorate which encompasses and explores determinants
for organisation behavioural and cultural change
towards world-class performance levels.

Prakash is also an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of
Management and gained recognition of his work when he was
nominated as a finalist in the AIM Queensland Manager of the
Year Award - in the Innovative Management category.

With over 25 years' experience in various senior management positions, Prakash possesses a varied
perspective on business processes and operations. He is skilled in analytical, financial management
and strategic disciplines, and has acquired first-hand knowledge of management issues of small to
medium-sized organisations through to large multi-national enterprises, in manufacturing, financial,
service and Government sectors.

Before establishing PHD Consulting Services, Prakash was Manager - Operations Improvement
Initiatives with DuPont (Australia) Limited. During his career with DuPont, he directed the company's
Best Practice Program and gained broad exposure by visiting many of the world's leading and most
impressive organisations in Europe, United Kingdom, Asia-Pacific and Australia. Under his direction,
DuPont's Best Practice initiative culminated in developing people in a local manufacturing plant in
a way that production exceeded world-class benchmarks in terms of time, cost and quality.

Prakash joined DuPont in early 1989 as Business Planning Consultant. In this role, he was instru-
mental in developing the company's Strategic Planning Initiative, assisting Senior Executives maintain
maximum exposure to business opportunities, leading to existing business consolidation, growth and
development of expansion strategies.

Prakash has acquired credible authority through his consultancy work and through presentations to
organisations, at industry and Government seminars in specialist fields such as Business Process
Reengineering, Benchmarking, Continuous Improvement, Change Management, Organisational
Development, IT Strategy, to name a few.

He also has an established network of professional, academic and government resources as well as
contacts with key senior management involved in contemporary and progressive management styles.
